A new medical text book includes a chapter on Music Medicine

In 2021 John Stuart Reid was invited to write a chapter on Music Medicine for a new medical text book, which aims to build an important bridge between Mainstream Medicine and Integrative Medicine.

The project was funded by the European Union under their Erasmus + initiative, and now, after many months in preparation, the book has been published, and the digital version is available without charge.

The book is titled, Comprehensive Multi-professional Approach to the Treatment of Patients with a Focus on the Use of Less Frequent Methods, and is intended primarily for medical professionals, although all who are interested in health and well-being will find the book inspirational in many ways. Edited by Dr. Gustav Solar, a respected Slovakian acupuncturist with over 40 years experience in his practise, and published by Dr. Solar’s Clinic of Acupuncture and Natural Medicine, this compendium of 21st century knowledge contains the following chapters:

Acupuncture, Science and Medicine—by Gustav Solar
Genetic Coding, Musical Harmony, Stochastic Resonance and the Ancient Chinese Book of I-Ching—by Sergey Valentinovich Petoukhov
Neurotechnologies and Brain Activity Optimisation—by Danes Kotatko
Music Medicine for Mainstream Medicine—by John Stuart Reid
Medical Rehabilitation and Less Frequent Therapeutic Methods—by Karol Hornacek
The Planckian Distribution Equation and the Cell Language Theory: Novel Methods to Study and Practise Acupuncture Science—by Sungchul Ji
